The Cadsoft family of building design tools has been developed to accommodate a wide range of users including residential, commercial and industrial builders, modular and panelised home manufacturers, contractors, remodelers and architects.
By using mainstream technology such as Microsoft Windows™ and AutoCAD®, Cadsoft ensures integrity and compatibility in all its products, making them a solid, secure investment

Three software tools are at the heart of the Cadsoft’s building design solution:
• Cadsoft APDesign, which works as an addon to AutoCAD®,
• Cadsoft Build, a stand-alone design package, and
• Cadsoft Concepts, a visualisation and presentation software package.

First launched in Australia in 1986, and was developed to provide residential home designers
and builders with a 3D design and production package that complements AutoCAD, the world’s leading CAD program.

Cadsoft Build: An affordable solution offering total design, quantity and framing options to the residential
construction industry. Cadsoft Build is a stand-alone, residential design solution based on Autodesk's r2000i OEM
engine. Build allows you to work on the floor plan while the program automatically generates a completely accurate
3D model, working drawings, framing information, and quantity information

Cadsoft Build was developed specifically for the residential designer who needs the power of Autodesk technology,
but not the added cost of AutoCAD.

Cadsoft Concepts: Concepts, a real-time animation rendering solution which lets you and your client take a
“virtual tour” through a finished 3D model. An impressive communication tool, Concepts links directly with the
Build and APDesign database and brings presentation techniques to new levels.
